How to wash your new roller blinds

Our special roller blinds can be washed both by hand and in the washing machine by choosing a fine wash program (30
°) and using neutral detergents. Everything is true and tested a hundred times. At the same time, our fabrics are hardwearing
and soft and have been treated to be washed in water without losing their shape or roll-up properties.

Some hints before washing your blinds:

• If the roller blind is particularly dirty, we recommend that it soak in water, and then wash it at low temperature.
• It is also important to use a mild detergent and not to exceed the prescribed amount.
• Please rinse thoroughly to remove any detergent residue before performing a short spin at low speeds.
• It is better not to use fabric softener as it attracts the dust and makes the curtains too soft, which interferes with optimum operational use.
• After washing it is advisable not to leave them in the basket for a long time but re-hang them still wet.
• Hanging the curtain still damp with the weight inserted into the pocket at the bottom of the tent, ironing will not be necessary.

Disassembling and fabric washing

• On the opposite side of the control chain, grasp the toothed wheel and turn it until the pin inserted in the coupling has withdrawn, allowing the pipe to slip out of the coupling.

• Grasp the toothed wheel and turn it until the pin inserted in the coupling has withdrawn, allowing the pipe to slip out of the coupling. If too difficult with your fingers you can also help with a flat screwdriver.

• Remove the roller from the side connection, remove the roller blind from the opposite side where the control / chain is located.

• Once the roller blind has been removed from the side fittings, remove the cap / pin or chain control by gently pulling it out of the tube.

• Once one of the two side connections has been removed, the weight / bar inserted in the final part of the fabric is removed.

• Now completely unroll the fabric from the tube to the end of the fabric. When you see the PVC sheath, gently remove the fabric by pulling it outwards. Warning: check that the PVC sheath is well detached from the pipe, otherwise remove it by passing a finger under the sheath. Also pay attention to how the fabric was mounted on the tube - fabric behind the tube or in front of the tube.

• Once the fabric has been removed from the tube, you are ready to put it in the washing machine.

• After removing the tube from the fabric, you can wash it by hand or in the washing machine by observing the following
  warnings:
• If it is particularly dirty, we recommend to soak it before washing to dust and then wash it at 30 degrees in a fine wash
  program.
• It is also important to use a mild detergent and not to exceed the prescribed amount of detergent.
• Please rinse thoroughly to remove any detergent residue before performing a short spin at low speeds.
• Do not use the fabric softener as it makes the curtains too soft compromising the optimal winding.

• After washing it is advisable not to leave them in the basket for a long time but re-hang them still wet.

• Mount the fabric on the tube by inserting the sheath back onto the tube keeping in mind the correct direction - fabric front or back. The fabric remains behind the tube in the case of a roller blind fixed to a window. The fabric is in front of the tube in the case of a roller blind fixed to the wall or ceiling.

• Hanging the curtain still damp with the weight inserted into the pocket at the bottom of the tent, ironing will not be necessary.

• When the fabric is correctly inserted on the tube, roll the fabric onto the tube with your hands; this will facilitate assembly later and replace the chain control and the cap / pin in their place.

• When the roller blind has been reassembled, you can put it back in the attachments, starting from the side of the chain and then going to the side of the cap / pin.

• To insert the part of the cap / plug follow these points:
• turn the plastic wheel until the pin retracts inside
• place the cap inside the recess of the roller blind attachment
• release the wheel and you will see that the pin will enter the hole provided

• Finally, you will be happy about your freshly washed roller blind, which looks clean and hygienic and new.
